Fred Tillery, Sr., age 82, of Richmond, IN and formerly of Eaton, OH, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born May 12, 1930 in McKee, KY to the late George W. and Tabitha (Moore) Tillery. Fred was a retired automobile mechanic; enjoyed playing bingo; and currently delivered the Saturday edition newspaper for the Register Herald. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife Faye Tillery, who passed away in 1994; and his second wife Delores J. Tillery, who passed away in 2007. He is survived by his daughters Margaret (Terry) Morrow of Hagerstown, IN and Irene Farr of Richmond, IN; son Freddie Tillery, Jr. of Richmond, IN; grandchildren David Morrow, Allen Morrow, Jonathan Tillery, Monica Tillery and Richard Tillery; and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Lowell Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton. Friends will be received on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
