George Wm. Howard

HOWARD,  George, Wm., age 82, of Covington, OH., formerly of Gratis, OH. died Tues. May 3, 2011 in Eaton.  He was born in Troy on March 22, 1929 to Edwin and Mary (Kitson) Howard.  He was a graduate of Gratis High School and was an Army veteran.  He had worked for McCall Corp. in Dayton.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie (Pennington) Howard in 2010.  He is survived by 3 daughters, Roxanna (James) Woodruff, Huber Heights, OH., Terri Lynn (Richard)  Woods, Springdale, OH., Georgetta Ross, Lincoln, MI., daughter-in-law, Valerie Howard, Eaton, OH.  5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren,   7 brothers, Edwin Howard, Camden, Robert Howard,  David Howard,  Danny Howard,  all of Eaton, Charles Howard, West Elkton, Terry Howard, Clayton, Glen Howard, Middletown, 3 sisters, Marguirette Back, Somerville, OH., Margie Mullins, Pound, VA, Melva Chenoweth, Eaton, 3 stepchildren, Eddie Conley, Ludlow Falls, Danny Conley, West Milton, Betty Gessner, Miamisburg, OH, 3 step grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Frederick Howard, and son-in-law, Lonnie Ross.  Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Sat. May 7, 2011 at Gratis United Methodist Church with Rev.
