George J. Simpson

George J. Simpson, age 84, of Richmond, IN and formerly of Centerville, OH passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Friends Fellowship Community in Richmond, IN. He was born June 5, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Paul F. and Johnetta (Holston) Simpson. George was a member of Campbellstown United Church of Christ; he worked as an Engineering Technician at Johnson and Johnson and was also a Postal Mail Carrier; and enjoyed collecting antique cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jean Simpson. He is survived by his brother-in-law Ron Rutan of Eaton; and niece Diana King and her husband Kevin of Centerville. A private graveside service will be held at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton, OH. Gard Funeral Home, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.
