Georgianna Baker

Georgianna Baker, age 72, of Eaton, OH passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at her residence.  She was born May 24, 1948 in Richmond, IN to the late Theodore and Bessie Clark.  She was a member of the First Brethren Church in Gratis; she also enjoyed reading and traveling.  She worked as a nurses aid for several years at local nursing home facilities in Eaton and Oxford.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Donald L. Baker in 2012; daughter Roberta Baker in 1991; sister Vada Mae Ballard; and brother Keith Bloomer.  She is survived by her sons: Russell Baker (fiancé Lisa Baumgardner) of Brookville and Robert Baker of Eaton; grandchildren: Tiffany Baker, Nicholas Phillips, Kristopher Baker, Steven Baker, Jenny Latham, Samantha Dube, Zach Baker, Trevor Guehring, Dalton Guehring; great grandchildren: Paityn Cross, Westin Baker, Uriah Huber, Emma Huber, Lilly Huber and Kendrick Latham; sister Judy Blankenship of Camden; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Bob Shannon officiating.  Burial will be held at Preble Memory Gardens, West Alexandria, OH.  Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gsbfuneralhome.com.
