Gertrude "Trudy" E. Spence Stover

Gertrude “Trudy” E. Spence Stover, age 87, of Eaton, OH passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at Stoney Ridge Senior Living in Miamisburg, OH.  She was born July 16, 1936 in Camden, OH to the late Arthur and Goldie Davis.  Trudy worked as a waitress for many years; and later retired from Parker Hannifin in Eaton.  She enjoyed music and dancing and racing cars in her younger days.  She adored all her children and grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her sons Robert Spence and Rodney Spence; grandson Robert Harrison III; and numerous brothers and sisters.  She is survived by her daughter Cindy (Bobby) Harrison; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and longtime friend and caregiver Loretta Tabor.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 1:30 pm until time of the memorial service at 3:30 pm at Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH, with Pastor Gerald Sadai officiating.
