Gray W. Bennett

Gray W. Bennett, age 51, of Eaton, OH passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was born August 12, 1960 in Dayton, OH to Louise F. (Stilwell) Bennett and the late Herd L. Bennett. Gray was a 1979 graduate of Eaton High School, a 1983 graduate of Duke University and a 1990 graduate of Akron Law School. He was the third generation to practice and operate Bennett Law offices in Eaton and had practiced since 1991. Gray also owned and operated “Gray’s Inn Dairy Farm” located in Eaton. He was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren; and was a devoted and loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Debbie Bennett of Eaton; children Alex, Natalie, Branson and Steven all of Eaton; mother Louise F. Bennett of Eaton; sisters Kathy Bennett of New York, NY, Sarah (John) Heuser of Manchester, MI and Ruth (Bob) Poirier of East Haven, CT; mother-in-law and father-in-law Darlene and Robert Combs of West Alexandria, OH; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Eaton Church of the Brethren, 813 Camden Road, Eaton, OH with Pastor Martin Peacock officiating. Private burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Friends will be received from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the church. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
