Harold L. Taylor, age 91, formerly of Dayton, OH, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Vancrest Nursing Home, Eaton, OH. He was born August 05, 1921 in Eaton, OH to the late James and Hattie (Spangler) Taylor. He was a Veteran of WWII, served in the Pacific Theater in the Army Air Corps. He retired from Leisure Lawn Inc. after many years of employment. A graduate of Eaton High School, he also attended Miami Jacobs Business College University. He was a Member of Grace Lutheran Church. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Esther M. Taylor, who passed away September 26, 2002, sisters Alena Conley and Maxine Grey, and brother Donald Taylor. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Linda Taylor, Temperance, MI, David and Marlys Taylor, Grinnell, Iowa; daughters and son-in-law Karen and Wayne Strohschein, Duke, MO; and daughter Deborah Taylor , Woodlawn, Ontario, Canada; 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brothers Robert Taylor, James Taylor, John Taylor all of Eaton, OH and two orange tabby cats. Friends will be received on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of funeral services at 2:00 P.M. at the Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Lutheran Drive, Eaton, OH with Rev Warren Reichart officiating .
