Harry James "Conner" Phillips

Harry James “Conner” Phillips, age 21, of Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at home with his loving family by his side following a courageous battle against DIPG.  He was born October 16, 2002 in Dayton to Jamie and Marie Phillips.  Conner was a 2021 graduate of National Trail High School, was an engineering student at Sinclair College and was accepted at University of Northern Ohio in Lima.  He worked at Stryver Manufacturing in Trotwood; was a member of the Covenant of Peace International Church in Eaton where he served as an Usher, was a member of the Young Adults and enjoyed working at the Missions Conference; he loved all types of cars, trucks or anything with an engine; and enjoyed cooking.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Harry James “Buddy” Phillips.  He is survived by his parents Jamie and Marie Phillips of Lewisburg; sisters Dora (Bobby) Smith and Mariah Phillips; brother Archer Phillips; paternal grandmother Vicki Phillips of Lewisburg; maternal grandparents Denise and Randy Keller; aunt Wendy (Michael) Aldridge; aunt Ashley (Ryan) Profitt; uncle David Holmes; numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved dog Charles Slobberdoodle.  Visitation will be held on Saturday February 17, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Covenant of Peace Church, 4745 U.S 127 North, Eaton, OH with Pastor Ken Harbaum and Dr. Rev. Raymond Rothwell officiating (please join us in celebrating Conner by wearing your favorite Hawaiian shirt). Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria.  Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, is assisting the family with arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the Covenant of Peace Church or Starshine of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
