Hazel Ann Longtin

February 2, 1939 — September 19, 2013

Hazel Ann Longtin, age 74, of Eaton, OH and formerly of Bradley, IL, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, September 19, 2013. Born February 2, 1939 in Milford, Illinois to Gordon and June (Rush) Thompson, she lived most of her childhood in Burlington, Michigan. Ann graduated from Union City High School (Michigan) in 1956. After graduation she became a homemaker and spent most of her adult life in northeast Illinois. Ann moved to Eaton, Ohio in the 2012 to spend time with her youngest son and his family. While here she attended the Visitation Catholic Church. She also attended lunch and activities at Preble County Council on Aging. She enjoyed spending time watching her grandson play basketball, football and baseball. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Longtin and her parents. Survivors include her 3 sons, Gordon Senesac of New Lenox, Illinois, Leslie (Linda) Senesac of Beecher, Illinois, and Michael (Lisa) Senesac of Eaton, OH. Ann also leaves behind 5 grandchildren; Jami (Jason) Meyer of Bradley, Illinois, Stacy (Matt) Padden of Park Forrest, Illinois, Gordon and Greg Senesac of New Lenox, Illinois, Chayse Gray of Eaton, Ohio and 1 great granddaughter, Marlinda Meyer of Bradley, Illinois. She is also survived by 4 sisters; Mary (Carl) Henshaw of Mesa, Arizona, Virginia (Raymond) Daniels of Putnam, Illinois, Judy (Jim) Pohlman of Burlington, Michigan, Catherine (Ed) Floyd of Burlington, Michigan, and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Father J. Thomas Fitzsimmons officiating. Interment will be in Abscota Cemetery, Burlington, MI on October 5, 2013. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Visitation Catholic Church in Eaton, OH.
