Helen M. Sollenberger, age 96, of West Alexandria, OH passed away Monday, April 22, 2024 at Sycamore Springs in Miamisburg, OH. She was born March 19, 1928 in West Alexandria to the late Harry and Lucille Voge. Helen was a graduate of West Alexandria High School and a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Roy Sollenberger in 2014, grandson Ryan Jacob Friend; brother Emerson Voge; and sister Eileen Ware. She is survived by her son Jerry (Karen) Sollenberger of West Alexandria, daughter Diane (Ted) Lester of Germantown; grandchildren Rachel (Ryan) Tait, Jason (Lani) Sollenberger, Laura (Michael) Hernandez, Kelly (Travis) Jones and Ashley (Thomas) Nguyen; great grandchildren Mackenzie Tait,Tyler Tait, Paisley Sollenberger, Levi Sollenberger, Lucy Sollenberger, Andrew Hernandez, Evan Hernandez, Elise Nguyen, Noah Nguyen and Eden Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 3:00 pm at the Salem Lutheran Church, 70 East Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Dan Mershon officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria. Gard Funeral Home, West Alexandria is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be sent to Salem Lutheran Church.
