Henry Howard Sr.

HOWARD SR., Henry, age 79, of Gratis, OH. died Thurs. Jan. 9, 2014 in Eaton.  He was born in Magoffin County, KY. on April 10, 1934 to Seymore and Elizabeth (Jenkins) Howard.  He was a Army veteran during the Korean Conflict.  He was a self employed contractor and backhoe operator. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis.  He is survived by 2 sons, Jesse (Susan) Howard, Cincinnati, OH., Henry Howard Jr. (Lynn) of Spokane, WA., 5 daughters, Elizabeth (Roger) Highley, Gratis, OH., Patty (Rick) Bowman and Terry (Ron) Johnson, all of Germantown, OH., Cindy (Paul) Moore, Gratis, OH., Conchita  Stearman  of Eaton, OH., 27 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, brother, Cleatis Howard, KY. and sister, Kay.  Also deceased were his parents, 2 sons, Jerome Howard, Joseph Howard, 3 grandchildren, and 9 brothers and sisters. At the end of his life, Henry made the decision by being saved to join his wife and sons in heaven.  A graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tues.
