Herman M. Brubaker

Herman M. Brubaker, age 80, of Eaton, OH passed away quietly December 13, 2011. He was born January 3, 1931 to the late Orville J. and Dorothy (Michael) Brubaker. Herman was a lifelong resident and farmer of Preble County. A 1948 graduate of Eaton High School, he also attended The Ohio State University. He was a former Eaton National Bank Board Member; past president of Eaton Community Schools; former Washington Township Trustee; chairman of the Miami Valley Milk Producers; C.E.O. of Milk Marketing, Inc. and Dairy Farmers of America; and past president of the Dairy Management, Inc. Preceded in death by his wife Joan Bake Brubaker, who passed away August 25, 2011. Survived by his sons Thomas M., Charles S., Daniel C. and William J. (wife Lynsey); sister Margery Prakle; grandchildren Jason Brubaker, Blaine Brubaker, Philip and Kaitlin Brubaker, and also Danielle Wayman (husband Rel), Cliff Rodgers and Alexandria Rodgers; great grandchildren Aiden Kreiss and Tripp Wayman; special friends Kim Rodgers and Joanne Brubaker; and many other beloved friends of the family. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH. A private graveside service will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH.
