Iris A Lower

Iris A. Lower, age 84, of Lewisburg, OH and formerly of Marion, OH, passed away Wednesday, September 02, 2015 at the Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton, OH. She was born April 9, 1931 in Marion, OH to the late Edwin G. and Florence Esther (Miller) Obenour. Iris was a 1949 graduate of Marion Harding High School; she retired after 42 years of work from BF Boodrich/Stratoflex/Parker-Hannifin in Green Camp, OH. She was a volunteer at Marion General Hospital and MedCenter Hospital for several years after her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandsons: Paul D. Sharrock, III and Richard Benjamin Sharrock; sisters: Lois Stine and June Betz; and brothers: Gerald, Keith, Rex, John Karl, Don, Roger and Kenny Obenour. She is survived by her husband Richard E. Lower of Marion, OH; daughter Nancy (Jack) Tilton of Lewisburg, OH; brother Paul (Bonnie) Obenour of Marion, OH; sister Sherry (John) Sharp of Bay City, MI; granddaughter Rebecca Sharrock of Eaton, OH; grandson Thomas Tilton of Lewisburg, OH; great granddaughter Amoua; and many nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Marion Cemetery, Marion, OH. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
