DECKER, Jack D., age 80 of Eaton, OH. died suddenly Fri. January 13, 2012 at St. Ann's Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Kenton, OH. on June 6, 1931 to William and Mary (Columber) Decker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes "Aggie" Decker . He was a graduate of Kenton High School and received his undergraduate degree from Ohio Northern University and his masters degree from Xavier University. He was a high school teacher and coach for Twin Valley South and Eaton High Schools and had also owned a business, W.H. Decker & Son in Lima, OH. He was an Ohio High School All Ohio Selection in 1949. He was a member of All Ohio Honors Football and was also inductee into the Hall of Fame for football at Ohio Northern University. He enjoyed motorcycles, all sports and his family. He is survived by 4 children, Robert (Deborah) Decker, Eaton, OH., J. Steven (Cathy) Decker, London, OH., Kristine Decker (Leo Stapleton) Delaware, OH., Kathy Manzer, Zionsville, IN., 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a sister, Sharon Newland, Celina, OH. Also deceased were his parents, a brother, William H. Decker, Jr. and son-in-law, Dave Manzer. A memorial service will be held this summer,July 21, 2012 for Mr. Decker.
