James Robin Boomershine

James Robin Boomershine, age 65, of Eaton, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.  He was born February 18, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio.  He was a 1976 graduate of Twin Valley High School.  In his past time, Rob enjoyed golf, watching all sports, and target shooting.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Eaton, Ohio.  He was preceded in death by his mother Sherry Lee Robbins Downs; father James L. Boomershine; brother Charles Randal Boomershine, and grandparents James E. Sr. and Edith Robbins.  He is survived by his daughters Leslie (Kyle) Waltz of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Beth (Samir) Bhatia of Hudson, Ohio, grandchildren Nayan, Sejal, and Leela Bhatia, brother Jeff (Jessica) Downs of Athens, Ohio, sister Kelly (Rob) Welter of Nashville, Tennessee and nephew Jacob Boomershine of Columbus, Ohio.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis, OH.  Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
