James M. Carico, age 76, of Eaton, OH passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. He was born January 10, 1937 in Preble County, OH to the late Herbert L. and Frances B. Carico. Jim was a U.S. Marine Veteran; a longtime member of the Eaton First Church of God, Eaton, OH; an avid sports fan who umpired little league and high school baseball for many years; and he was a longtime employee of Millers and Marsh Supermarkets. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Carol J. Carico, who passed away May 9, 2009. He is survived by his son Jeff (Angie) Carico of Jackson, KY; step-daughter Lucinda Evans of Richmond, IN; step-son William Bill Norton of South Carolina; granddaughters Kelsey Carico and Terrisa Evans; grandsons Nick Carico, Dylan Carico, Eric Norton and Bill Norton; sister Donna Kay (Bill) Brush-Rohr of Richmond, IN; brother Robert (Sue) Carico of Eaton, OH; special friend Diane Current of Lewisburg, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Eaton First Church of God, 601 East Lexington Road, Eaton, OH with Pastor Jonathon Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 5 8 P.M also at the Eaton First Church of God, Eaton, OH.
