James E. Carr, age 66, of Centerville, OH and formerly of Preble County, OH passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born December 16, 1957 in Kentucky to the late James Edward Sr and Elizabeth (Belcher) Carr. He was U.S. Navy Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia Carr. He is survived by his son Matthew Edward Carr; daughter April Lynn Carr; stepchildren: Daniel (Lori) Page of Camden, Julie (Chris) Boyd of Dayton, OH and Robert (Holly) Mack of Dayton, OH; and step grandchildren: Morganne Page, Daniel Page Jr., Jeremiah Parton, Kayleigh Parton, Harper and Mason. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating.
