James “Jim” Everett Jordan, age 72, of Eaton, OH passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at the Greenbriar Nursing Home with Bella Care Hospice in Eaton due to renal failure. He was born October 15, 1951 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton to the late Earl and Dorothy (DeVilbiss) Jordan. Jim worked for Inland Manufacturing in Dayton for 29 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Jordan; sister Mary Ellen Kelly; brothers-in-law Michael Kelly, Raymond Moore and Thomas Donaldson; and nephew Timothy Kelly. He is survived by his two sisters, Lillian Moore and Earla Donaldson; three nephews and three nieces; numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins; and special friend Tammy Edwards. The family would like to thank Charles Hubler, Rhonda Haines, Heather from Bella Care, and Greenbriar Nursing Home for the care given to Jim, especially Robin and Melissa. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Gard Funeral Home, 67 W. Dayton Street, West Alexandria, OH with Pastor Danny Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria.
