James "Jim" McKee

James “Jim” J. McKee, age 72 of Eaton, OH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Momentous Health Nursing Home. Jim was born August 15, 1950 in Dayton, OH son of the late Robert L. and Vera E. (Carson) McKee. He was a 1968 graduate of Eaton High School where he participated in the wrestling team where he excelled. Jim was a proud US Army Veteran and served two enlistments. He served on the Meteorological Observation Team at Dugway Utah Proving Grounds where they stored nerve gas cannisters. He served as a Telecommunications Center Specialist at the European Command Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany. Jim loved to travel, go to concerts, and did so until his health restricted his activities. He continued to collect music and enjoyed listening to his favorites up until his passing. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Edward McKee. He is survived by his son, James “Jimmy” Patrick McKee of Eaton, OH; daughter, Erin Elizabeth (Mike) Bradburn of Eaton, OH; grandchildren, Austin-Michael James Bradburn of Arlington, VA, Ashlynn Rose McKee of Richmond, IN, Ayden Matthew Bradburn of Eaton, OH, and Novalee Buffy McKee of Lexington, KY; brothers, Robert Michael McKee of Virginia Beach, VA, Dennis (Susi) Patrick McKee of New Paris, OH, and Christopher Alan McKee of Eaton, OH; Jim is also survived by his former wife, Wilma McKee Brown of Eaton, OH.
