James Taylor, age 81, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 7, 1931 in Preble County to the late James W. and Hattie (Spangler) Taylor. He was a U.S Army Veteran who served during the Korean War and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Eaton, OH. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Patricia L. Taylor, who passed away August 30, 2005; brothers Donald and Harold Taylor; and sisters Maxine Gray and Alena Conley. He is survived by his son Douglas (Susan) Taylor of Columbus, OH; special friend Carol; granddaughters Lisa (Trenton) Wicks and Tracie (special friend Justin McDivitt) Taylor all of Richmond, IN; step-grandson Matthew (Kristen) Brewer of Maryland; great grandchildren with ages, Jacob 14, Dylan 11, Kaylee 9, Avian 6, Kayden 5, Leighton 4 and Jarrett 4 months; brothers Bob Taylor and John Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 12:00 noon until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Lutheran Drive, Eaton, OH with Rev Warren Reichart officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery, Eaton, OH.
