Janice Kay Hubler

Janice Kay Hubler, age 71, of Eaton, OH, went to heaven unexpectedly on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. Janice, known as Jan, was born September 27, 1943 in Milford, CT. She graduated High School from Kettering Fairmont in 1961, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in teaching from Ohio University in 1965. She married her high school sweetheart, Charles Chuck Hubler in 1965 and moved to Eaton, OH. After graduating college, Jan worked as a school teacher before becoming the co-founder of Eaton Day Care Center. She dedicated much of her life ensuring that children received a great start to their education through their pre-school program. Jan was very active in the Current Events Club, where she was a member for over 40 years. Jan was loved by many and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul & Jean Augenstein. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Chuck Hubler; sons, Jeffrey Hubler and Brian (Kristin) Hubler, grandchildren, Tristan Hubler, Jeffrey Hubler and Brianna Hubler; brother Donald Augenstein; sister Nancy Johnson; and niece Aja Fuschini. Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 3, 2015 from 10:30 am until time of memorial service at 12:00 noon at the Eaton United Methodist Church (formerly St. Paul U.M.C.), 120 North Maple Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Chris Farmer and Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
