Jean Doris Roderer

Jean Doris Roderer, age 90, of Dayton, OH and formerly of West Alexandria, OH passed away Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Laurelwood Senior Living in Dayton.  She was born August 2, 1929 in Dayton to the late Joe and Nell (Cooper) Barr.  She enjoyed cooking, lottery tickets, playing cards, Goodwill shopping and was a lover of all dogs.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Norbert Roderer and her brother Esmond “Jake” Barr.  She is survived by her children: Joe Harris of Dayton, Kathy (Les) Nallen of Miamisburg, Don Harris of Miamisburg and Phil Harris (Judi Sarkisian) of Newberry Springs, CA; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister Nina Baker of West Alexandria; and numerous nieces and nephews and good friends.  The family would like to thank Laurelwoods Senior Living and Hospice of Miami Valley for the special care given to Jean.  Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 11:30 am at the Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 67 W.
