Jerry Lee Powers II

Jerry Lee Powers II, age 49, of Gratis, OH passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023.  He was born July 10, 1973 in Hamilton, OH.  Jerry went to school in Fairfield, OH; he worked over 17 years at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as a Lab Tech II; and was well-loved by his many friends and family.  Jerry was a semi-professional Skateboarder and BMX bike enthusiast until he was left disabled after a carjacking in Cincinnati.  He later moved to be near his mother in Eaton and later Gratis, OH, so that she could help him.  He leaves behind his mother Brenda K. McQueen of Eaton; and other close friends and family.  He was preceded in death by his father Jerry L. Powers; and grandparents Rosemary and Garland McQueen and Charles and Rusty Powers.  Jerry will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him.  A memorial service will be planned at a later date.  Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the H.I.T.
