Joann R. Boerner

Joann R. Boerner, age 90, of Eaton, OH, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born April 7, 1934 in Carterville, IL to the late James R. and Josephine I. (Callaway) Hampton. Joann was a 1952 graduate of Eaton High School; was a member of the Eaton United Church of Christ; was an active member of the Preble County YMCA; a member of the Red Hat Society; and she retired from Marsh Supermarket in Eaton after 27 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers George Scott and Lloyd Scott. She is survived by her daughter Debbie L. Boerner of Eaton; sons Gregory A. (Donna) Boerner of Redington Shores, FL and Rob L. (Cheryl) Boerner of Richmond, IN; grandchildren Marquis (Tiffany) Moore of West Alexandria, Allison R. (Eli) Cates of St. Petersburg, FL, Olivia J. (Kyle) Eckley of Killeen, TX and Ethan Boerner of Redington Shores, FL; great granddaughter Ryleigh Moore of West Alexandria, Harley Moore of West Alexandria, Callahan Eckley of Killeen, TX, Beckett Eckley of Killeen, TX; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.
