Johanna Pelling

PELLING, Johanna Mae, age 84 of Eaton, OH died Tues. April 10, 2012 in Eaton.  She was born Nov. 29, 1927 in Dayton, OH. to Ray and Myrtle (Stettler) Karns.  Mrs. Pelling had worked many years as a  Bureau Clerk for the State of Ohio B.M.V. She was a member of the Eaton Church of the Brethren.  She is survived by 2 children, James (Nancy) Pelling, Loveland, CO. and Joy (Larry) Turner, Eaton, OH., 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Richard Karns, Eaton, OH. Charles Karns, Oshkosh, WI., 2 sisters, Marjorie Jordan and Karen Dorr, both of Eaton, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Pelling in 1983, 2 sisters, Donna Gambill, Bette Nance, 2 brothers, Douglas Karns and Jack Karns. Funeral services will be held Sat. April 14, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH. Burial will be in Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Fri. from 5-7PM.
