John D. Gabbard

John D. Gabbard, age 73, of Gratis, OH passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his niece’s home.  He was born August 28, 1947 in Gratis to the late William and Alpha Gabbard.  John was known to all the kids as “Jelly Belly” and was a member of the Gratis Church of the Brethren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Neville Gabbard, Orlene Furrow, Tom Gabbard, Dick Gabbard, Lizzie Leach, Maxine Johnson, Rolland “Chig” Gabbard, Vickie Wilburn and Mary Ann Gabbard.  He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, Gratis is assisting with arrangements.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.lindloffzimmerman.com.
