John C. "Chuck" Lewis

John C. “Chuck” Lewis, age 54, of Eaton, OH passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023.  He was born September 6, 1968 in Zanesville, OH.  Chuck was a 1987 graduate of John Glenn High School in New Concord, OH and earned his Associates Degree from Muskingum University in Criminal Justice.  He retired as a Detective from the Miamisburg Police Department.  He was an avid sports enthusiast and Ohio State fan; and enjoyed listening to music and grilling out.  He was a loving husband and father.  He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Lucas Garner and father John Charles “Jack” Lewis.  He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rachel Lewis of Eaton; sons Jordan Lewis and Cameron Lewis both of Eaton; uncle Jim (Diane) Lewis of Roanoke, VA; several cousins; and beloved dog Sadie “Sis”.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 12:00 noon at the Eaton First Church of God, 601 E.
