John Ludwig

LUDWIG,  John L. Jr., age 67 of West Alexandria, OH. died Wed. Oct. 16, 2013 in West Alexandria.  He was born in Alliance, OH. on Dec. 22, 1945 to John and Mary Pauline (Pfeifer) Ludwig.  He worked for Elder-Beerman for many years.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in Vietnam. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Ingomar, OH.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Ludwig in 2011.   He is survived by 3 daughters, Janette (Scott) Hittle,  Erin Webb, all of West Alexandria, OH., and Tara (Jeff) Lay, Sunman, IN., 7 grandchildren, Emily and Curtis Hittle, Brooklyn and Justice Webb, Devin, Makyla and Mikey Lay, and his brother, Michael (Pam) Ludwig, Santa Clarita, CA.  A memorial service will be held 4:30 P.M. Thurs. Oct. 24, 2013 at St. John Lutheran Church, Ingomar, OH. with Rev. Laura Cavendish officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or Vitas Hospice.
