John W. Morrison

John W. Morrison, age 72, of Eaton, OH, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, OH.  He was born April 3, 1949 in Prestonsburg, KY to the late Wilson and Anne (Pinion) Morrison.  John was a retired Heat and Frost Insulator out of Local #50 (originally #79 Dayton).  He enjoyed fishing, was an Amateur Radio Operator K8RTL, collecting and restoring antique radios, and drawing and painting.  Most of all he enjoyed time with family.  He was also an active member of the Covenant of Peace Church, Eaton, OH.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Joe Morrison; and sister Bonnie Sexton.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judith (Phillips) Morrison of Eaton; son Matthew (Misty) Morrison of Anderson, IN; daughter Mindy Morrison of Englewood, OH; grandchildren Tanner Morrison, Jayla and Dallas Carter; sister Kay Woods of Huber Heights, OH; brothers James B. (Ella) Morrison of Ypsilanti, MI and David Morrison of Eaton, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral services at 2:00 pm at the Covenant of Peace Church, 4745 State Route 127 North, Eaton, OH with Rev.
