John E. Proeschel

John E. Proeschel, age 64, of Camden, OH passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his home. He was born January 5, 1958 in Hamilton, OH to the late Paul & Vera Proeschel. John was a lifelong farmer raising dairy cattle, harvesting his fields and tending to his animals. He took great pride in growing quality hay while riding on his International tractors and mentoring. He enjoyed watching his grandkids grow up. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Diane Proeschel of Camden, OH; son Jonathan (Maddie) Proeschel of Camden, OH; daughter Angie (Aaronn) Haerr of Camden, OH; grandchildren Braylen, Mae and Kasey; siblings Ruth, Paula, Linda, Jim, Joe and Andy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street. Funeral service will be held the following day with a visitation from 9:30 until time of service at 10:30 am with Pastor Dwight Hanson officiating.
