Joseph Paul Young

YOUNG, Joseph P., age 78 of West Alexandria, OH. died Wed. June 13, 2012 at his residence.  He was born in East St. Louis, MO. on June 4, 1934 to Edward and Lorabelle (Modglen) Young.  He was a 21 year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served from 1952 to 1973.  He worked for Monsanto Lab in Dayton and also for Walmart Stores, as a security guard. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sara Young, 2 sons, Tim (Sandra) Young, Trenton, OH., Anthony Young, Middletown, OH., daughter, Drena Young, Middletown, OH., several grandchildren and great grandchildren, stepson, Jim Strohmeyer, West Alexandria, OH., 2 brothers, Sam Young, WI., Jim Young, MO., 2 sisters, Bernice Tucker, Carlisle, OH. and Daisy Kennedy, Middletown, OH. He was preceded in death by a son, Terry Lee Young, 3 sisters, Mary Lindsey, Opal Brown, Esther Mitchum, and 3 brothers, Wayne Young, Ronnie Young and Kenny Young. Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. Mon. June 18, 2012     at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West Alexandria, OH. with Rev. John Young officiating.  Burial will be in the Dayton V. A.
