Joyce A. Moore

Joyce A. Moore, age 75, of Eaton, OH passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Vancrest Nursing Center, Eaton, OH. She was born November 10, 1937 in West Manchester, OH to the late James L. and Ruth (Taylor) Hartshorn. Joyce was a 1956 Eaton High School graduate; attended the First Presbyterian Church, Eaton, OH; and retired from Gary’s Pharmacy of Eaton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son David L. Ward; stepdaughter Marilyn Tintsman; and step son-in-law Steve Studebaker. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Squeak Moore of Eaton, OH; daughters Brenda A. (Greg) Watkins of Palm Harbor, FL and Kathy L. (Jack) Bauman of Oakdale, CA; daughter-in-law Anna Ward of West Manchester, OH; step-daughters Karen Studebaker, Judy Minniear, Linda Ferriell and Laura McCargish; 24 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. Friends will be received on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 5:00 pm until time of memorial service at 6:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
