Juanita M. Long

Juanita M. Long, age 95, of Eldorado, OH passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 at her residence with her loving family by her side.  She was born May 11, 1927 in Westphalia, KS to the late William R. and Jennie M. (Filbrun) Flory.  She was a member of Pleasant View Church in Eldorado, OH.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wilmer Long in 2008; brother Leo Flory; sister-in-law Eileen Flory; son-in-law Willis Hess; grandsons Jared Hess and Abram Hess; and granddaughter Amanda Baker. She is survived by her daughters Sherrill (Marcus) Brubaker, Louise (Don) Egbert, Susan (Jim) Murphey, Donna Hess, Vicki (Max) Witmer and Margaret (Keith) Seger; sons Stephen (Sharon) Long and Matthew (Carla) Long; 32 grandchildren; 87 great grandchildren; 25 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at the Pleasant View Church, 2354 Kimmel Road, Eldorado, OH. Burial will immediately follow at Prices Creek Old German Baptist Church Cemetery also in Eldorado. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Everheart Hospice, 1350 N.
