Julia Faye Spitler

Julia Faye Spitler, age 76, of West Alexandria OH passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH. She was born March 24, 1945 in Pennington Gap, VA to the late Charles and Marie Black. She enjoyed gardening and sitting on the front porch with her husband Gary. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at the Greenbriar Nursing Center and was also a Home Health Aide. Most of all Julia was extremely giving and was an inspiration to all that knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gary Spitler who passed away in 2019; grandson Gary Eaton in 2020; and brother Carl Black. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Spitler Eaton; sons Gary N. Spitler and Rocky (Dana) Spitler; great-grandchildren Kaley Richie, Bre’onna Eaton, Gabreal Eaton; brothers Pete (Linda) Black and Luther (Nina) Black; sisters Marie (Eddie) Stapleton and Betty (Willie) Cooper; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 2:30 pm until the time of the funeral service at 4:30 pm at Gard Funeral Home (formerly Lindloff-Zimmerman), 67 W.
