Junior D. Duffield

Junior D. Duffield, age 84, of New Paris, OH passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012. He was born January 10, 1928 in West Manchester, OH to the late Talmage and Fannie (Smith) Duffield. Junior was a longtime Preble County farmer; he retired from Belden Wire and Cable after 26 years of employment; was a skilled carpenter, electrician and mechanic, along with many other trades; and had a wonderful gift for making people laugh. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Juanita (LeMay) Duffield of New Paris, OH; sons Douglas (Carol) Duffield of New Paris, OH, Dennis (Gayle) Duffield of Watauga, TX and Randy (Barbara) Duffield of New Paris, OH; grandchildren Jason (Silvana) Duffield, Jennifer (Arno) Springer, Jeremy (Jennifer) Duffield, Brian (Nicole) Duffield and Nichole (Matt) Scherik; 11 great grandchildren and one on the way; and numerous cousins. Friends will be received on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Paul Register officiating.
