Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Courtney

Kathleen “Kathy” Ann Courtney, age 69, of Eaton, OH passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at her residence. She was born March 4, 1955 in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Wendall and Donna (Kolzow) Bauman. Kathy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Wright State University; was a Registered Nurse for 36 years working at both Grandview Hospital and McCullough Hyde Hospital; she was a Girl Scout leader for 25 years; and her hobbies included gardening, sewing, fly fishing, yard work, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren; and she was a member of the Eaton First Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Thomas Courtney of Eaton; son Bradley (Holly) Courtney of Springboro; daughter Michelle Williams of Eaton; step daughter Cheryl Courtney of Tempel, TX; grandchildren Sophie Williams, Sydney Williams, Jorden Courtney, Ella Courtney and Brynlee Courtney; brother Dr. Wendall Bauman of San Antonio, TX; nephew Wendall Bauman; and niece Kendall Bauman. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 10:00 am until time of Celebration of Life service for Kathy at 11:00 am at Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 West Main Street, Eaton , OH.
