Kathryn "Kay" Begley

Kathryn Kay Begley, age 94, of Eaton, OH, passed away Saturday, February 08, 2014 in Rushville, IN. She was born February 5, 1920 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Victor and Addie Wall. Kay retired from United Telephone Company in Eaton, OH. After retirement, she and her husband Jack traveled extensively, often taking their grandchildren with them. They spent winters in Florida and developed many lasting friendships for the last 35 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Begley; son George Jerry Claxton; grandson Matt Claxton; and brother Victor Wall. She is survived by two daughters, Jacqui (Leroy) Custer of Rushville, IN and Patty (Gary) Wagner of Eaton, OH; son Rick (Janice) Begley of Centerville, OH; brother Jim (Pat) Wall of Findley, OH; 15 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Memorial contributions may be sent to L & M Products, 201 East Lexington Road, Eaton, OH 45320.
