Kathryn L. Potten

Kathryn L. Potten, age 70, of Morning Sun, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 12, 2022.  She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Hacker; her daughters, Lacey Eck and Emily Evans; and her siblings Patricia Follet and Robert Hacker Jr. She is predeceased by her husband, Earl Potten; and her father, Robert Hacker Sr.  Kathryn was an art teacher at New Miami Elementary School for 37 years and was passionate about working with children. She also enjoyed reading, and gardening. She adored and spoiled her corgi, Missy; and her cats, Misha and Mavis -which she called the M &Ms. She loved her daughters and was so proud of them.  More than anything, she loved Jesus. In recent years she spent a lot of her time with Living Faith Church in Morning Sun. She loved Morning Sun and considered the community to be her family. She had many friends in Morning Sun and beyond, several of which she has known since she was very young.  She was in the process of planning services for Earl, who passed away in 2019.  Please join us in celebrating the life of Kathi and Earl at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 19^TH at Living Faith Church, 10257 Morning Sun Road, College Corner, OH  45003.  Dress code is casual, be comfortable!
