Kevin L. Cottrell, age 47, of Lewisburg, OH passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, OH. He was born January 5, 1965 in Dayton, OH. Kevin was a 1983 graduate of Twin Valley High School, where he served as class president; he was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles; a member of Local Union #82, International Brothers of Electrical Workers; and was employed with Studebaker Electric, Dayton, OH. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Earl and Helen Davis; paternal grandparents Ronald and Marjorie Cottrell, Sr.; and stepfather Phillip Richison. He is survived by his mother Judy Richison of New Lebanon, OH; father and stepmother Darrell and Kathleen Cottrell of Troy, OH; son Holden Cottrell of Phillipsburg, OH; sister Pam (Ronald) Chandler of Brookville, OH; brother Stephen (Theresa) Cottrell of Union, OH; brother Robert (fiancé Katie Barnes) of Clayton, OH; sister Stacey (fiancé Chaze Liles) of Troy, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 3, 2012 at the Girton Schimdt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Lowell Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville, OH. Friends will be received from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the funeral home.
