Kian C. Caldwell

Kian C. Caldwell, age 23, of New Paris, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023.  He was born March 13, 2000 in Greenville.  Kian was a 2018 graduate of National Trail High School and earned his Associates Degree in 2021 from the University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima.  He was a truck driver and diesel mechanic.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather's Ora Caldwell and Donald Zumbrun; and cousin Brittney Caldwell.  He is survived by his father Tim Caldwell (Chrissy Duffie); sister Trena Caldwell (Mason Tibbetts); Grandma Betty Caldwell; Uncle Rob (Melissa) Caldwell; aunt Shari (Mike) Kosier; stepbrother Dylan Duffie; cousins Grady, Ashley (Nick), Kaitlin (Brandon), Brianne (Max), Austin (Macy) and Ethan; second cousins Kylie, Gracelynn, Braxlee and Katalina; and many countless friends.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH.  Burial will follow at Castine Cemetery in Castine, OH.  Memorial contributions may be sent to the National Trail MVCTC FFA program, 6940 Oxford-Gettysburg Rd, New Paris, OH 45347.  Online condolences and other remembrances may be sent to the family by visiting www.gardfuneralhome.com.
