L. Lorene Sharp, age 92, of West Alexandria, OH passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at EverHeart Hospice at Wayne Hospital in Greenville, OH. She was born July 16, 1928 in Johnson City, TN to the late Norman and Iva Tester. She was a member of First Baptist Church in New Lebanon, OH; and was a member of the Richmond Deaf Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband L. Rex Sharp in 2010; sisters Clydie Tester, Mabel Tester, Laura Good, Dorothy Stout and Rebecca Tester; and brothers Raymond, Howard, Earl and Paul Tester. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Aaron King of Greenville, OH; four grandchildren: Tyler (Courtney) King of Greenville, OH, Lucas King of West Alexandria, OH; Jenna King of Greenville, OH and Wyatt King of Greenville, OH; great grandchildren Porter, Emmett and Adley King; sisters Ruth Powers of Jonesborough, TN and Mary (Charles) Winebarger of Gray, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Lindloff Zimmerman Funeral Home, 67 West Dayton Street, West Alexandria with Pastor Justin Wiegand officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH. A visitation for Lorene will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
