Larry A. Spence

Larry A. Spence, age 80, of West Chester, OH and formerly of West Alexandria, OH passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023.  He was born October 19, 1943 in Dayton, OH to the late Ernest Eugene and Minnie Mae Spence.  Larry’s love of muscle cars and dragsters led him to his career in auto body painting and one of the last free hand pin stripers.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers Robert Spence and Ernie Spence; and sister Dolly Cruze.  He is survived by his daughter Lisa (Brian) Chandler of Eaton; sons Larry Spence of West Chester and Steve Weaver of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren Jesika Spence, Josh Chandler and Julianna Chandler; great grandchildren Chloe Rose and Victoria Rose; sister Barbara Williams of West Chester, OH, Evelyn Laughters of Grand Isle, FL; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 3:00 pm until time of memorial service at 4:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 W.
