Lawrence M. "Larry" Petry

Lawrence M. “Larry” Petry, age 74, of Eaton, OH passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. He was born August 13, 1950 in Richmond, IN to the late Lloyd J. “Pete” and Marilyn A. (Campbell) Petry. Larry was a 1968 graduate of Eaton High School and earned his Master’s Degree from Miami University. He was a former Eaton City Council member; was the former owner of Webb’s Five and Dime in Eaton; worked at Village Pantry for over 30 years; and mostly recently worked at the Dollar General Store in Eaton. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law John and Roberta Petry; two nieces; two great nieces and three great nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Mound Hill Cemetery (new section) in Eaton. Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton is assisting with arrangements.
