Lee R. Garey

Lee R. Garey, age 58, of Eaton, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, IN. He was born September 16, 1954 in Hastings, Nebraska. Lee worked for many years in sales and announcing at numerous radio stations including WKBV/WFMG in Richmond, IN. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Eaton, OH, where he was a pianist and assistant music director. He was also very talented at drawing. He was preceded in death by his father Robert W. Garey. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Dawn Garey of Eaton; daughter Anna Garey of Eaton; son Clifford Garey of Eaton; his mother Margery A. Garey of Arvada, CO; and sisters Lynn (Tim) Garrelts of Evergreen, CO and Anne Garey of Peru, NE. A luncheon will begin at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 400 Lexington Ave., Eaton, OH 45320 followed by a celebration of life service that will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Brian Deaton officiating also at the church. Burial will be held privately at Mound Hill Cemetery, Eaton, OH. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
