Leslie A. Brant

Leslie A. Brant, age 78, of West Alexandria, OH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at her daughters home. She was born June 23, 1936 in Steubenville, OH to the late Ross and Melba McDevitte. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles D. Brant in 1987; granddaughter Tara Montgomery in 2013; and stepfather whom raised her, Joseph Smith. She is survived by her son Bret Allen (Betty) Brant of West Manchester, OH; daughter Lori (Daniel) DeBoo of West Alexandria, OH; son Daniel S. (Tonya) Brant of Lilburn, GA; daughter Shannon (Ryan) Eastridge of Eaton, OH; grandchildren: Dustin (Benita) DeBoo, Derrick (fiancé Jessica Spence) DeBoo, Dalton Van Winkle, Devan Van Winkle, Dylan Eastridge, Danielle Brant, Dillon Brant, Hayden Brant, Michael (Crissi) Buteau, Jr. and Christopher (Lacy) Buteau; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters Janet (Bill) Lybrook of Morning Sun, OH and Susan Linden of Columbus, OH; brothers Joseph (Kim) Smith of Cincinnati, OH and Jon (Carolyn) Smith of Eaton, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
