Linda L. Samuels

Linda L. Samuels, age 62, of Eaton, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering.  She was born March 24, 1962 in Dayton, OH.  Linda was a 1980 graduate of Fairmont East High School where she was a member of the Marching Band and later earned her bachelor's degree in accounting.  She previously worked at H&R Block in Eaton; and was a member of the Blue Star Mothers of Preble County, where she served formerly as Chapter President.  She is survived by her parents William and Dorothy McCoy of New Palestine, IN; husband Mark Samuels of Eaton; sons Michael Jaynes of West Carrollton, Matthew (Miranda) Jaynes of Miamisburg and Jonathan (Ashley) Jaynes of Ft. Stewart, GA; stepson Steven Samuels of Richmond, IN; grandchildren Kristin Jaynes, Natilynn Jaynes, Violet Jaynes, Nathan King and Alexander King; sisters Kim McCoy, Karen (Troy) Walden and Deborah (David) Dyrhaug; several nieces and nephews; and special canine companion Sammy.  Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 5:00 pm until time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 W.
