Lloyd C. Busch

Lloyd C. Busch, age 99 of Eaton, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home in Elizabeth, Colorado surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 6, 1923 to Christian John and Edna Ethel (nee Wysong) Busch on the farm in Preble County Ohio. Lloyd graduated from West Alexandra High School in 1942, where he met his wife, Clara Ellen Heck.  Lloyd was an innovative farmer in Preble County where he and Clara worked side by side on the family farm for 67 years. He was a master woodworker and continued building intricate furniture and decorative items until his death.  He and Clara enjoyed traveling the country in their Airstream trailer. Lloyd also enjoyed hunting, fishing and flying.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Ellen; daughters, Claudia Miller and Patricia Ann Busch, granddaughter, Tammy Miller and parents.  He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Linda (Greg) Mitchell and Barbara (Peter) Kallevig; son-in-law, Maurice Miller; grandchildren: Monica (Dan) Cummins, Vanessa (Michael) Copper, Angela (Aaron) Young, David (Becky) Rohr, Stephanie Rohr, Ryan (Sophia) Mitchell, Travis (Caley) Mitchell, Kristen Mitchell; along with his 10 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 10:30 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Salem Lutheran Church, 70 E.
