Lydia K. Burnett

Lydia K. Burnett, age 69, of Eaton, OH passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Vancrest of Eaton Health Care Center.  She was born April 25, 1954 in Lewisburg, OH to the late Leonce and Zelma Maggard.  Lydia was a waitress at the Eaton Place for many years; she also worked as a secretary for CVS Personnel Services; and also cleaned for various homes and offices.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Harold, Ralph and Mitch Maggard; sister Norma Brower; and infant brother Carson Maggard.  She is survived by her son Todd (Jessica) Smith of Lewisburg; grandchildren Jaxon and Addison Smith; brothers Les (Cindy) Maggard and Ken (Rebekah) Maggard; sisters-in-law Margaret Maggard and June Maggard; best friend Ernie “Knipp” Driver and her husband Dane; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 3:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 226 W.
