Lynn Jefferis

Lynn W. Jefferis, 67, of Eaton passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013, in Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond, IN. He was born in Dayton, OH, on January 12, 1946 at Miami Valley Hospital to Orville And Edna Hurt Jefferis. He had lived in Ft. Myers, FL, for several years and had worked at Ft. Myers News Press. After returning to Ohio, he worked for St. Leonards Nursing Home in Centerville, Ohio, before working and retiring from Walmart in Eaton. He is preceded in death by both parents; an infant niece, Diane and his sister, Adele Jefferis Gates, both of West Alexandria. He is survived by two nephews: James Gates of Surprise, AZ and Jeffrey Gates of West Alexandria along with one great- niece, four great-nephews, six great, great-nieces and three great, great-nephews. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul UMC Crossroads, 120 N. Maple in Eaton on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 1:00pm.
