Marian Rose Cutrer, age 90, of Eaton, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Eaton. She was born February 22, 1929 in Dresden, Ohio to the late Ralph E. and Esther E. (Spring) Schumacher. She graduated from Dresden Jefferson High School in 1947. After graduation she met the love of her life, Howard Cutrer and they married on June 20, 1953. They moved to Eaton, Ohio in 1962. She retired as a telephone operator for United Telephone Company in Eaton. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Camden, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter Paula K. Cutrer; brothers H. Willard (Donna) Schumacher, Paul H. (Ruth) Schumacher and George J. (Evelyn) Schumacher. She is survived by her husband of nearly 66 years, Howard Webb Cutrer; son Howard Douglas (Debbie) Cutrer; grandson Christopher A. (Kate) Cutrer; sisters Clara Jane (Reg) Tignor and Yvonne (Dick) Wolfe; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Greg Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Preble Memory Gardens in West Alexandria, Ohio.
